How to view “Vulnerable Components” for an asset in I3 Portal?

To view Vulnerable Components for an asset in the I3 portal, follow the steps below:

  1. Login into I3 Portal
  2. Using the left floating menu navigate to Assets —> Manage
  3. Click on the link in the Asset Name column for the specific asset in the Assets table.
  4. On the Asset details page, click on Vulnerable Components from the ribbon menu
  5. You can filter the Vulnerability Impacts as below:
    • Click on the charts (Priority Classification and CVSS Ratings) to slice and dice vulnerability data
    • Click on the State selection buttons to filter based on {Open/Resolved/Ignored} vulnerability impacts
    • Specify Product name, CVE number or Asset Name in the Search text box for filtering
  6. To view the details for the specific vulnerability from the Vulnerability table, click on the Installed / In-Use product or Vulnerable product columns from the table for that vulnerability record. This takes you to a detailed vulnerability view which provides recommendation action to remediate the issue along with Priority Indicators
  7. You can view details about the specific vulnerability / CVE by clicking on the CVE / Advisory link displayed in the Vulnerability table for a specific record.
