How to manually create an asset?

Follow the steps below to manually create a new asset in I3 portal:

  1. Login into I3 Portal
  2. Using left floating menu bar navigate to Assets —> Create / Discover
  3. Select Create and then click Next
  4. Specify the name for the asset to be created.
  5. Select the Asset Family and Asset Type from respective dropdown lists and click Next.
  6. Specify any additional Products. This is an optional step depending on the earlier selections for Asset Family and Asset Type
  7. Click the Create button.
  8. New asset will be visible on Manage Assets page.
